Although those of the older generation (me simply being 20) always say the same thing and sometimes even say children are the best thing that has ever happened to them. I have had the same thoughts since I was 7 years old. Never wanted to play with babydolls. Never wanted to see my round stomach and never had the desire to have children and still don’t. I currently work in my dream career and am moving up very quickly, with that being said. I don’t want to sacrifice everything I have worked hard for, for the last 4 years for 18 years of my own time to raise a child. I’d prefer to enjoy my silence and the views of a different country for periods of time.
