Initially you called a commenter a liar (which was demonstrably false) and now you’re doubling down on calling OP a liar.
If your sensibilities are so sensitive to lying (which they seem to be if you’re seeing lies where there aren’t any – e.g. the comment you took issue with in this thread), the Internet is not going to be safe space for you.
Lying about birth control also doesn’t negate the possibility that the abuse is real.
You’re worried that the information in the book could be weaponized, but earlier you were doubtful OP would even read the book. So I question how much that actually worries you.
Therapy can also be weaponized, but it still isn’t something I would dissuade anyone from pursuing.
