The first one hurts, always. I could go on a whole analysis about motivations and such but tbh it would be a waste of time. Sometimes things just start super strong and feel amazing and then fizzle for no discernible reason. It doesn’t make sense and it’s not meant to.
This does NOT mean there is anything wrong with you, or anything wrong with him. You can both be totally fine people and compatible in every way and STILL it might not be the right situation for one or both of you.

The root of this issue is his work schedule. That’s pretty inhumane. I’m sorry it’s not able to change right now. I would give him a break and let him dictate what he wants to do after work – without resentment – and call in the proverbial troops (family, babysitters) to help you and kids for now. 75 hours a week would turn any normal person insane. I would literally be suicidal if I were him.

This is dumb. Men can have women friends. My best friend is a married woman with a kid. We text each other first thing in the morning and talk all day everyday. We never tried to kiss or hook up. I don’t know if Polish people do this but Russian people have shortened names, and then shortened names that are more “sweet.” I dated a guy Dmitriy. I called him Dima, so did all his friends. His mom and family called him “Dimka” (deemka). It’s possible that she’s taking standard nicknames as the more “sweet” version. This is a cultural barrier but it can be worked through.
