2. I knew about the visit ahead of time, welcomed her, and we (husband & cousin) were chatting the whole time. It was not a surprise and she’s visited me separately. Her bf was supposed to go but had a work event he couldn’t leave for. Neither of them have mentioned my parent’s call or concerns – I think either because he didn’t mention it to her or also because he didn’t want to bring up something that he didn’t see was a big deal.

   You are too kind and magnanimous to a fault, which is why all these conflicting feelings are killing you. For me, it's as clear as day and night. I will never ever forgive those bullies, let alone talk to them and to be friends with them again.

   To give her the benefit of the doubt, I do believe she has changed. Peoples' value and beliefs do change as they grow and experience new things and setbacks. Most likely, the reason that she didn't apologize was because she thought you had forgiven her or forgotten about the bullying incident. And that if she apologizes, it will make the whole thing awkward.

   Tell her what you feel. At the very least, I think you owe it to yourself to be honest with yourself.
