I would have slept fully dressed, which I hope that you have done the same, but I would have asked for a separate blanket and roll into it. However, I miself was in an alike situation (I am a man) when I was in my 20's, having a girlfriend (she is now my wife!), I was visiting alone, to meet someone, a touristic town (seaside) and a good friend of mine had family there (cousins) and I arranged to sleep over at their house (mom and daughter at home, dad was a sailor). In order to meet that person, I had to travel on the seaside to a nearby holiday resort for students and the daughter (16 yo!)wanted to join me, which I accepted. We went there, met up and somehow we missed the connection back to town, so we were stranded there for the night. My meeting person offered us a single bed in a small cabin, so we end up sleeping together in the same and small bed, fully dressed and back to back. No one even insinuated that something could have happened, which in fact was the naked truth…!
Another suggestion is for you to tell your (former ?) friend what her husband messaged you and that you will respond to him in two days. Then, do so as succinctly and truthfully as possible to a few questions from him before ending the conversation.

He said that we would be together forever anyways so house > a wedding. He is the type of guy that sees a wedding as a scam lol but I see wedding as a sign of love. So it’s really naked to convince him. He has a finance masters and I’m mba in finance and we both work in finance so we do know quite a lot about that stuff.
