Plan your wedding how you want it, it’s your day to celebrate your love. Nothing you do to try accommodate them will make them happy. I’d have a talk with your partner as to how involved he wants his parents at your wedding. If they can’t simply show up and be supportive, they shouldn’t even be there at all. I know that’s not an easy realization because all you want is to celebrate with your loved ones. I also find it very bold that they can have all of these strong opinions about someone else’s wedding, and not even offer to help support financially… All in all, their behavior is extremely childish and there’s no excuse for it. This was Quest and I don't recall them running anything special. Or if they did, they didn't tell me how involved it was going to be.
