Things like ditching her for the presentation are things that she has the capacity to work out if she wants to deal with or not. But, it can be easy to lose respect if someone doesn't really have boundaries and doesn't hold you to task for things where you've objectively wronged them, even if the reason wasn't malicious. Our actions are supposed to have consequences.
