I get it too, but I do try to communicate at least something brief about what I’m feeling if I have one of those “come home and go to bed” days. He left the situation wide open for her to assume what he was thinking/feeling and I think there is some opportunity there.
I used to have a naked time being “okay” coming into the house after work and it left my boyfriend feeling like he did something wrong, or that I wasn’t happy to be home, which wasn’t the case.
