Weight gain can affect sex life, unfortunate but true. Your husband named the concern and that is a good thing to be open and honest with your partner. Hopefully he is ready and willing to be supportive as you get to the place where YOU are happy and feeling confident in your clothes, because that's what matters. How YOU feel! Although it hurts, he sounds like he was polite about it and you probably needed to find a time to be open with how you were feeling anyway. Not trying to justify my snooping but I genuinely was curious as to see what he was saying about me so I typed my name in the search bar; that was how I ended up finding that out. I can see your point, I think I was just a bit more upset that he lied about us sleeping together when we hadn’t been at the time.
I would need a sincere and ongoing display of regret and shame.
I would need to see ZERO push back against all my behaviours that spring from lack of trust (eg location checking, phone transparency).
I would expect him to adopt the old fashioned way of ensuring fidelity – so not only being loyal but being seen as such also. For example, if we have couple friends then he would text the man and not the woman, not having a woman alone in a car / house / room.
In short I would expect an extra level of WILLING loyal behaviour forever.
The old fashioned way of male/female fidelity rules worked fine for the older generation, so he can go back to that. He loses modern privileges!
If there’s any push back then I’d take that as actions indicating he doesn’t truly want to be with me, but has chosen to stay for practical reasons rather than love.

So many times people focus on the one thing right before the snap and wonder how could that be the reason they’re done? When it’s almost never that one thing but many many things piled up. Talk to a lawyer. Maybe do a trial separation, maybe divorce. I support you! That would be my breaking point then as well
Idk how much his dad knows but his mom had once went to my bf's doctor saying how he's having false memories and is crazy/ delusional b4 his appointment with the doc. My bf got mad at saying now anything he'll say to his doc wont b taken seriously now. Safe to say he doesnt want his parents involved.
