   You mentioned how he’s not ambitious and that you are. Think about 5 years down the line and he’s probably doing the same thing and you find bigger and better opportunities. How comfortable will you be leaving him at home knowing that it could lead to him spiraling?

   You mentioned that you were in therapy, but is he taking stock of his mental health?

   Have you had a sitdown talk with him about your expectations of what you want out of this relationship?

   He’s 28 years old and just got a license, was there something holding him back before that?

   It may help for you to think about this and once your thoughts are clear, have a chat with him. You never know this could be the wake up call for him to get his shit together. Also you’re in no way obligated to be someone’s crutch while they’re navigating life. You choosing to be with him or not should be based on what you want out of the relationship and life.

   Also since this is single post and that’s all I have to go off of, just wanted to point out something

   stomping around angrily because of them

   punching the bed in frustration

   kicking water

   punching floor

   They aren’t typical behaviors. If it’s something that he does often that’s not a good sign at all. Shit happens and it’s how we deal with it that shows maturity.
