1. Your parents don’t need to know -for now-.

   In psychology there is something called “Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs”, which is a basic early concept in psychology that states you must be meeting your most basic needs (physical and psychological safety) before you can really make progress on some less basic needs (coming out). Right now, because you are a refuge, one of your most basic needs is being fought for daily by you. Since your parents are homophobic, that puts you in even greater danger.

   As a refugee who is now an adult you may have additional options available for you to become independent. Whichever country your family stopped in may have additional resources available to you as a refugee. You should consider seeking them out independently.

2. It's ok to break up, and this is an excellent reason to do so. Not everyone wants to be around kids, and that's ok. Your relationship up until recently was good because the child wasn't an active part of it and that suited you . Now it's moving on in a way that doesn't suit you. It would be utterly wrong to pretend that you're happy with this when you aren't.

   Just a heads up – if avoiding an argument about it is your priority, you'll be in this forever. There is no way to approach it without upsetting her, but surely that's better than living a lie?

3. I hope your bf is just dumb and not negging you. Honestly I would be really hurt if my bf was like that too and then defensively try to save himself by saying my personality was great tho. Feels like a consolation comment. I would reevaluate our relationship tbh.
