To everyone who continues to reply about how “she should be able to want to be the star” please spare me. Being pregnant doesn’t mean you need to be the center of attention, but most importantly this isn’t really about all that fuss she wants. She’s seeking validation from a family that is determined not to give it to her. That is the problem. It’s making her super unhappy and is ruining her pregnancy. She needs to distance herself from them and realize that they are not equipped to be what she wants them to be. It sucks and they suck. But she needs to stop feeding into this.
