My partner loves lingerie, so I buy it, wear it and do get dolled up in it – specifically for him. It’s fun to plan something extra special for the person you love – it’s like giving a gift.
Now, would I freak out on my partner if they were too tired and I looked hard “for no reason”? No. She took it way too personally (prob out of insecurity and societally reinforced tropes) and her pouty and cutting comment was totally uncalled for.
