When I'm upset with someone or they upset me, I need space. Her reaction isn't weird to me. She needs space and doesn't want to be around you for any number of reasons, let her cool down and come to you on her own. sounds like shes found a friends of the opposite sex, it happens, it doesnt always mean they wanna shred each others clothes off.
I understand your concerns about the lack of intimacy, so have a conversation with her, if your uncomfortable with this new guy from work, join them for a beer, see if that makes a difference.
people cheat regardless in life if they want too, all you can do is be the best version of yourself, be open and honest with her about how you feel, make sure your doing your part at home with chores, bills etc, the rest should fall into place.
