If she doesn’t see herself moving back and you can’t handle not moving back then no, you two should not get married. I think you’d have a very hot time getting someone who really enjoys the culture and/or weather of Seattle/the PNW to move to most (not all) places in Texas imho. Especially with the current political climate for women. If nothing else, I know I could never move there purely because of the weather but many people would feel the same way about the PNW as well. It’s sucks but you should treat this as her forever opinion and not marry her hoping it will change.
Anyone with a sliver of empathy would be more concerned that you’re okay after experiencing a negative reaction to using a recreational drug for the first than anything else. Especially his own “image”. What? He’s worried his friends think his GF is a lightweight? Boo fucking hoo.
You tried a street drug and got violently ill afterwards. Everyone who does street drugs will eventually experience a bad trip. It comes with the territory. Was it his first time or something? That’s the only reason I can think of that’d he’d be so judgmental about this (especially since his friends seem to not be fussed).
I’ve had complete strangers treat me with more compassion during my first (and roughest) mushroom trip than your partner is giving to you.
Stop apologizing. You already went above and beyond. If he can’t get over it when everyone else apparently has, that’s a HIM problem, not a YOU problem.
