Agreed! Things were also way different during older generations' times. Life came at them a lot quicker and they usually got their independence quicker as well. Sort of fast tracked to maturity in a simpler time. Times have changed, things are more complicated, but society also gets babied more, and ppl live at home longer on average, so real maturity in this world takes a bit longer as well. I thought I was an adult when i was like 21, but looking back I didn't know shit and wasn't actually mature until around 27+
