I am the oldest of my siblings, my sister is 5 years younger and my little brother is 10 years younger than me. When I was in my teens there was a huge rift between my and my siblings. I wanted to be with my friends, go out, etc. I had to help raise them (parents fought / divorced) I was suppose to be the “example”, my siblings never had half the rules I did growing up which led me to be a little jealous of them. Now that I’m older (23) and live with my S/O, travel, career, etc. I love my siblings, but we all get treated differently by our parents due to the age differences and it’s noticeable.
