I [29M] broke up with my GF [25F] because of 2 red flags

1) she's horrible with money and has upwards of $10K of credit card debt. This is due to frivolous purchasing, it is not medical or student debt.
2) her house is unacceptably dirty to me. Her house borderline looks like a hoarder's house, it is just in a constant state of trashed. Food will sit out for over a week before she cleans it up. I don't expect to on-line in pristine conditions, but I would never online with her the way she keeps it.

We've been casually dating for almost a year, getting to know each other and helping each other through some very hot times. She has become my best friend and i love her as a person. But as we started considering seriously committing to each other, I decided that these 2 issues were big enough that I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life with her. When I told her, she said she understands, but of course we're both very upset by it.

Are these red flags enough to warrant not committing to someone?
