Coming from parents who had me at age 40, I think it would be selfish to have another child at your ages especially with a sibling who’s so much older. You shouldn’t give in just because she’s having a midlife crisis. That kid will basically be an only child and the both of you will be fairly old by the time their big life milestones come around.
