That is weird and a red flag, but why is your ex accepting follow requests from no name people without a profile picture in the first place?
I was on the other end of things here. I simply don't like how tattoos look. I just find them unattractive. Not sure how to explain it, but I guess it's just a preference like any other. Some people like different hair colors or hair lengths or hair styles or skin tones or skin features or body shapes or sizes or fashion senses… I just don't like tattoos.
I made this pretty clear to my (now ex-)significant other pretty early on when we started dating, and she absolutely understood this. Many years later… she revealed that she wanted to get one. I felt like there was no good way to handle things from my end. I either make a big deal about it and feel like I'm impeding on her bodily autonomy, or I just let it go and end up less attracted to the person I fell in love with (because of something more or less permanent, unlike a bad haircut).
I felt like I owed it to her to tell her how I felt, and I did so. She ended up getting the tattoo anyway. And then another, and then another. And then shortly thereafter we split up (due to a lot of reasons, not just the tattoo thing).
