It’s never a good feeling, but it’s a side-effect of our current dating norms. It’s something you will typically have to deal with, so try not to let it get under your skin. Be friendly, and accept that it’s something you can’t really do anything about.

Yeah, each to their own but I'd personally find that immature. Maybe we've just been raised differently but I've always been told be upfront, direct and clear.
If they've communicated, if she has explained how she feels and he still isn't listening going off and indulging in the same behaviour you've previously taken issue with strikes me as short-sighted, petty and immature.
She’s tried asking him to stop, she’s tried communicating her feelings. She feels disrespected and desperate. What are her options at this point if he won’t listen or take her seriously?
