I think โregularlyโ is the wrong word here. OP says they go out maybe twice a month and drink. That doesnโt scream regular alcohol abuse to me.
Throw the whole relationship out anf start over OP. Your ex was with that man for 4 years, more than likeky has deep emotional and sexual history with him. Do you seriously think she has ZERO attraction to him?
I am willing to guess that if they haven't been sexually active now it's going to happen eventually. Even if it doesn't happen, do you seriously want to spend the rest of your relationship with her ex in the picture…?

You sir are being ABUSED verbal and physically by your wife. Arguments should never get physical IMO. it is heartbreaking that this happened in front of your children. Watching your mom hit your dad and yell and scream all the time has a major affect on kids..please get out of there and do not expose these children to abuse like this
Go back inside and tell your roommate he needs to leave immediately. You did not agree to him being there and she has no right to basically move someone in.
