you’re right. i’m trying to give her the space that she needs but i’m suffocating her. i know vulnerability and emotions from men are unattractive. i know i’m supposed to be the rock and the person who doesn’t let shit affect them. and yet i can’t stop. usually i’m fine, i’ve got hobbies, i’ve got friends of my own. 2 of my best friends have 9-5s and their own girlfriends so it’s been a couple weeks since i’ve seen em. one of my other best friends has been on vacation in mexico for the last week and a half. the other one has spent the last 6 months in BC for work. i’ve just been incredibly lonely and it doesn’t help when i get told she’s busy only for her to drop everything whenever her friend wants something. remember how i said she told me she’d be busy studying today for the exam tonight so we couldn’t hang out during the day? her friend bought some shit on FB marketplace, asked her to go pick it up with her. they drove 45 mins to pick it up, 45 mins back, and have been hanging out for about an hour since. i tried to distract myself by going to the gym, but now i’m sitting at home w nothing to do and no one to talk to.

Take her advice. Recognize that you deserve and can do better. Who knows maybe you find out that you really need to move on from her too. Either way. You can't beg her to stay with you. And you have a right to be upset that other people are begging her to stay with youm pick yourself up and be with a person who is enthusiastic about having you in their life.

You are not wrong, this guy sounds very immature and uneducated on the subject. UTI’s are soooooo common and can happen for a plethora of different reasons. Maybe you both should research together and learn together, if he is unwilling to learn then I recommend never sleeping with him again. If you are in this relationship for the long haul I am sure you will run across this again, and you shouldn’t be treated as a disgusting person because of it. I am not even going to go into all the reasons him saying he regrets having sex with you is horrible.. good luck and I hope for your sake he is willing to learn.

I've always told him I like his accent, which I do. He is generally short tempered, he doesn't like anything that causes a delay or for him to repeat himself. I'm laidback, he is uptight, he is organised, I am chaotic. I love him to bits so just hoping opposites don't just attract but work in the long term.
