Look man I will give you advice that someone much older has given me. You say you plan to be with her forever, and one thing you have to accept with being with a woman forever is she is not the only one entering your life, but her whole family is. Her crazy uncle, dad, cousin, whatever, they all come as a package and will all be involved in your life one way or another. You can try and get them to turn around on this issue maybe, and maybe they will reason with you, or maybe they will beat you to an inch of your death, there is no way to know.
