On top of all of the good advice in here, remember to do this for yourself. Because when sobriety is for other people and then the other people leave, you're more likely to relapse. You put yourself first when it comes to getting better and doing better. Right now you're the only one that has to go to bed with you at the end of the night. Be proud of yourself and keep working on it. I love someone very dearly who is 3 and 1/2 years sober and I know that it is a choice to remain sober everyday.

I can’t imagine having to keep bear spray IN MY OWN HOME in case my dog decides to eat me. I just… wtf? Dog woulda been gone after it attacked the other dog. And I LOVE dogs but fuck that. And if husband objected, then he’s gone as well. This is scary.
