The reason for the master's is I get to knockout two birds with one stone. It helps line up a backup for me but also preps me for med school. So it's a bit of a resumé booster, academic enhancement plan and a fallback. Given that she can find a job wherever I go, I'd hope she'd follow me since it is entirely dependent on where I get accepted given my academics. I'd love to stay in-state but at this point, my dream school is whoever will accept me. There is a medical school about an hour away from her that I will be applying to but that's a best-case scenario.
At the same time, I don't want to guilt her into leaving her dream site and returning. I guess we should just hold out hope for the best-case scenario or split if I have to move far?

Why would you do this for years and years more? You realize you’ll have LESS work if you leave him right? Like the second you’re out the door you’re just gonna feel a weight off your shoulders. Your steps will be like walking on air. Imagine how good that will feel.
